Declining player availability, the toll of injuries, and the added challenges presented by the Rugby League season commencing in March have made it increasingly difficult to fulfil fixtures in a way that supports both player welfare and the long-term interests of the club. Stepping back at this stage allows the squad to recover and provides the club with the opportunity to reset and plan effectively.

We have worked to provide all clubs and league organisers with as much notice as possible, allowing time to plan alternate fixtures and ensure clarity around league standings in the run in to the end of the season.

As a young club, we remain incredibly proud of what has been achieved: two outstanding seasons, back-to-back promotions, an unbeaten home record from 2023-25, and a growing reputation across South Yorkshire.

We place on record our sincere thanks to our players, coaches, volunteers, supporters, and, most importantly, our sponsors. Your commitment, belief, and continued support are the foundation of this club.

This is not an ending, but a pause. Our focus now turns to rebuilding, strengthening, and preparing for the next chapter. Over the coming weeks and throughout the closed season, we will be working closely with our players to shape the future of the club and are committed to building back stronger.
