Fixtures Secretary
The Fixtures Secretary is responsible for managing and coordinating match schedules. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and updating the club's match fixtures.
- Liaising with opposing teams to arrange and confirm match details.
- Ensuring all logistics for fixtures are organised, including venues, food, referees, and transportation.
- Communicating fixture information to players, coaches, and members.
- Handling any changes or cancellations of matches.
Team Manager
The Team Manager is an essential figure within the rugby club, responsible for the administrative and logistical aspects of team operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing player registrations, ensuring all players are eligible and properly documented.
- Organising travel arrangements (and accommodations) for away games and tournaments.
- Handling communications between players, coaching staff, and club administration to ensure smooth information flow.
- Coordinating training schedules and ensuring facilities are booked and ready for use.
- Maintaining equipment inventory and ensuring all gear is available and in good condition for players.
- Assisting in the planning and execution of club events, such as team meetings, social gatherings, and fundraising activities.
- Supporting the Director of Coaching and Director of Rugby in achieving the club's overall objectives and mission.
- Promoting the club’s rugby programme within the community and fostering a positive club culture.
- Model the Clubs Values at all times
- Represent the club, as required, through social media content to promote its values and achievements.
GMS Manager
The GMS (Game Management System) Master is responsible for maintaining and updating the club's digital systems related to fixtures, player registrations, and match results. Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and managing the club's GMS platform to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Training and supporting club members on the use of the GMS platform.
- Generating reports and analytics from the system to assist in strategic planning.
- Ensuring data security and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to the GMS platform.
Events Manager
The Clubhouse & Events Manager organizes and manages club events and activities. Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and executing social events, fundraisers, and matches.
- Coordinating logistics such as venue, catering, and transportation.
- Promoting events to club members and the community.
- Managing event budgets and resources.
- Ensuring events are safe and enjoyable for all participants.
Marketing Assistant
The Marketing Assistant is responsible for developing engaging and high-quality content that showcases the club’s events, achievements, and community involvement. Key responsibilities include:
- Creating and curating content for various platforms, including social media, the club’s website, newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Producing multimedia content such as videos, graphics, and photography.
- Collaborating with the Communications and Media team to align content with the club’s branding and messaging.
- Engaging with the club’s community to gather stories, testimonials, and other content that highlight the club’s impact.
- Tracking content performance and using analytics to refine and improve future content strategies.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and incorporating new content ideas to keep the club’s communications fresh and innovative.
