Tony has served the county and the community games in Yorkshire for over two decades, having held the role of South Yorkshire Chair, served on both Yorkshire RFUs Community Committee and U20s Standing Sub Committee and he currently holds the position of Yorkshire County Teams Development Chair.

He previously had the honour of being elected Yorkshire RFU President in 2021, as season which was hampered by the impact of the COVID restrictions. He is one of a small number of individuals to have served more than one term in the role.
